Compassion 100K (Kickoff)
Compassion 100k is an initiative, sponsored by the Southern Union Conference of Seventh-day Adventists, that focuses on Hunger, Homelessness, Human Trafficking, and Health in the Atlanta area (#1 in America), where 100+ girls are sold into slavery monthly. The organization is asking area churches to donate 100k in hours, cash, labor, service hours, and community projects to the cause. The Kickoff was held on January 30, 2016, and is a 9-month inititative culminating in October, 2016, with a full week of reaping and evangelistic meetings to win souls to Christ.
